Ana has a new toy!

Congratulations for your new car Ana & Cristi & Maia & Muca! Our friends dream came true… today! They got a new toy, with 7 passenger seats and stuff. Next time we’ll be in Toronto, both me and Maia will share the back seats without disputes. Don’t dare smoke in this car Ana, it’s too pretty and shiny and silver! May only happy things happen in/with this car my dear friends! I am very happy for you. Congratulations!

I’m alive!

 

Almost died on Saturday. A crazy driver did not stop on the red light and passed in front of me, almost running me over. I am a very lucky person. Couldn’t even hit the brakes on my bike but stopped after 100m to take a deep breath and thank God for my fortune.

I am very happy to post this in good health.

Be careful when driving a motorcycle in Bucharest, will you?

Summer nostalgia. Again.

I loved it so much it just had to find its way into here. Also Peachesz aka Andreea made me feel the summer nostalgia on this forum.

The photos were shot in Bodrum, Turkey, in August 2006.

We (me and Catalina, my wife) both got our PADI diving license ever since after a rough series of exams.

I’ve been sick

 

Due to unknown reasons, I was dead for 2 days.

Dead sick. The drawing above (made by Lumi) states my behavior/illness for the time being too.

Don’t underestimate the evil power of food poisoning.

Beats any hangover.

Got a mail from my cousin Anca this morning with some photos from her trip to China.

That’s a place I always want to visit.

Went towards Odorheiul Secuiesc but got stuck half way there, in a forest 40 km away from Brasov (200 km from Bucharest). My car wasn’t prepared for icy roads. We were lucky enough to get back to Brasov on time, otherwise would have been forced to spend the night in the car, at -5˚C, with no gasoline left in the tanks a.s.o.. Managed to find a nice villa to spend the night in, and a great italian restaurant. So our trip to one place merged into an amazing weekend in one of the most beautiful towns in Romania. Lots of red wine, snow, good food, sleep and laughs. Here are some photos.
