NATO holiday

I don’t know how other people react when the NATO summit is held in their town, but we took Athos, left the city and ran in the mountains, outraged by the bad traffic and hysteria that covered Bucharest in those days.

We left Athos behind and took one week off to Germany.

Well, this might have been the last trip to Romania for Ana, Cristi and Maia, but we sure were happy to see them again. It was nice to meet Emily and Mario from Greece too. Of course they were all dissapointed by the third world country that Romania is, but hey, so am I and I still enjoy living here. The trick is to cover your eyes and choose to see only the positive things arround you. Like… uhm…

The summer is back, mylivesearch is a hoax, Tea is walking already, Luca is cute, Luminita is coming to Romania for her romanian style wedding celebration, Ana just arrived from Canada with Maia and Cristi and the weather outside is just too hot to ride my bike.

Outdoor weekend – summer time

We found ourselves this Sunday at Bodo’s place playing tennis again. But the real fun part was driving the golf carts like they were ATV’s! Next time maybe we’ll also play some golf, not only torture the poor carts.

Motorcycles trip to Cheia

On Sunday my friend Andrei convinced me to take a trip with our motorcycles to Cheia, a mountain village 120km away from Bucharest. It was great, everything I was expecting to be and more, except the freezing cold.

6 years anniversary

 

We have chosen Brasov for our anniversary celebration.

Just the 2 of us, in a very quiet and outstanding environment.

We slept a lot, took long walks on the Venice like streets and eat lots of goodies.

Skying trip reloaded

 

I went to the mountains again for a team building seminar and had an ski accident falling on my head at high speed on the slope. It was lovely. Looking forward to do it again.

Finally a bit of snow!

This might be the first and the last time I go for ski this year, but at least it was amazing. The weather is going to hell. It’s almost spring time again. Who knows? Maybe we’ll take a short trip to Canada to check their slopes!

As Mihai would say on our way to the top of the mountain, can you imagine how much snow would a movie director have to set in place in order to fill in these hills?

Merry Christmas

Here we were last night at 11 pm looking for Xmas tree decorations. The only things left to get are the tree lights. We’ll get them today on the way to Ploiesti, hopefully there will be no chaos at the supermarket. People seem to get crazy when it’s raining, snowing or during holidays. So it’s better to do your shopping at night. And your driving. Too bad I can’t go to work at night. It would be nice to avoid the rush hour traffic on my way there.
